We are a clean, safe and friendly guesthouse in the heart of Mersing. We offer private rooms and dormitory. Close to the post office, banks, shops, taxi and bus station, hospital and only a few minutes walk to the jetty to the islands. Anwar and Rocky welcome you to the East Coast Backpacker's. We hope that you will enjoy your stay here with us. If there is anything that you would need or information that you need to know, feel free to ask, we will try to help in any way that we can. Please relax in our home environment, watch a movie or join in for a chat. Help yourself to a tea or coffee, we will even cook if you are hungry. Our inhouse restaurant which is available for everybody not just our guests, offers Western Breakfasts, Lunches & Dinners. Our Menu ranges from toast, omelets, pancakes, pizzas, eggs, chips, steak, sandwiches and salads. All meals are homecooked! If you have the time, join our friends from around the world and maybe write a line or two in our visitor's book.
